About Us

Why we exist

We believe that anyone who wants to excel should have a mentor to guide the way. Our mission is to make individuals believe in their own ability so that they feel empowered to create the life they want to live. We just happen to do it by teaching challenging problem solving.

Henrik Angelstig

Henrik Angelstig

Founder & President

Henrik founded Eureka to help future generations of students reach further in their learning than what they thought possible. He has been a finalist in several math competitions and a math teacher to more than 50 students. Henrik is currently studying his fourth year at the Stockholm School of Economics and is writing an entrepreneurship blog called Startup Builder .

Filip Granlund

Filip Granlund

Head of Content

Filip helped found Eureka to stimulate understimulated students. He has always been fascinated by the creative process behind mathematics and has always sought out like-minded people. Filip will start the medical program at Linköping University this fall.

Olga Borbély

Olga Borbély

Head of Communications

Olga is currently studying her third year at Södra Latin's gymnasium. She has previously worked as a tutor in mathematics, and her other interests are physics and more specifically astronomy. In her spare time, she takes classes in dancing and horse riding

Niklas Lundström

Niklas Lundström

Lesson Contributor

Niklas is Associate Professor at Umeå Math in Sweden. His research is mainly on pure and applied analysis of differential equations. Concerning partial differential equations, I am studying e.g. maximum principles, boundary behavior and growth at infinity of solutions of nonlinear equations, as well as existence, uniqueness and regularity of solutions to equations related to optimization problems and image processing. Concerning ordinary differential equations my focus lies mainly on stability of nonlinear dynamical systems and how to use different stability concepts in applications, e.g. when managing the harvesting of populations and when dimensioning large electric generators. Education: MSc engineering physics (2004), half PhD mechanical engineering (2006), PhD mathematics (2011), Docent mathematics (2017). Other interests: nature in general, skiing downhill, whitewater rafting, motocross, carpentering, constructions and buildings, old houses, radio controlled airplanes, music, strategy games, poker.
